No account, no identity checks

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or identity documents, and there is no account to create. We use no analytics and no advertising trackers, and we set no cookies of our own.

What an order needs

To run a swap we pass the exchange the coins and networks, the amount, your recipient address and, if you enter one, a memo or tag. The exchange needs these to deposit and pay out. We do not store them ourselves: we look them up from the exchange each time you open your order page.

What we keep

• An order reference: a short random ID linked to the exchange's order ID. It is deleted 7 days after the order is created. After that, your order link no longer works.
• Rate limiting: to stop abuse, we count requests per visitor in memory using a salted hash of the IP address. The hash is useless outside our running server, is never written to disk or logs, and disappears within about an hour.
• Request log lines: our server records the path, status and timing of requests to diagnose faults. It does not record IP addresses, wallet addresses, amounts, query strings or browser details.

What the exchange never sees

Your browser only talks to RedactedSwap. We do not forward your IP address, device, browser, language or time zone to the exchange. Our own requests to the exchange go out through a proxy network, so the exchange does not see our server's address either. The page shows you your own IP address so you can see what stops with us; it is not stored.

What stays public

Your deposit and payout are ordinary blockchain transactions, visible to anyone. The exchange sees the deposit it receives and the payout it sends. If you open a block explorer link from your order page, that explorer sees your visit under its own policy.

Hosting

The site runs on third-party hosting and network providers, which process connection data to deliver the site under their own policies.
